Bar Quest 2009. At 505 we profess ourselves to be the experts in the Lancaster County Bar Scene. As we enter our 4th year we feel the need to stay up-to-date on the happenings of bars, taverns, dives, lounges, watering holes, and cafes in our fine County of Lancaster. So your fearless editor is going to make an attempt to visit each and every bar in Lancaster County in 2009. According to PLCB records there are 551 liquor licenses in the County. Some are not real bars (beer distributors, private clubs, caterers, etc.) but most are full fledged drinking establishments that are open to the public and we're going to do our best to visit every one, document the event for posterity, spread the gospel of 505, and move on. Stay tuned!
